Like I said in my previous post. It was been a wild year. Evan Sult, formerly of Harvey Danger Fame, now of Sleepy Kitty, emailed me and wanted to chat! I worked with Evan in my early Devils Due days on “Barack the Barbarian”, I story for another time… We did some fun work together and then went our separate ways for a bit. Years later, he is working as the editor for RFT and Scene Magazine and asked me if I would be into doing some work with him and of course I said Yes!!. His goal was to create an ode to the famous Apocalypse Now Poster with Mayor Gregory Kurtz of Independence, Ohio as the Antagonist. I did some research and worked closely with Evan to make sure I was providing the right look and feel and this was the result. From what I could tell the piece did well and it certainly brought out a robust conversation on twitter. Evan is a superb dude and it was great catching up. Especially with all of us being locked inside for so much of the year. We are looking forward to doing more work in the future!!
