I have been working with/for Devil’s Due for over a decade at this point. Josh Blaylock is a great boss to work for. He calls me from time to time when he needs help on a cover or a project and I am happy to oblige! This one was tough for me, specifically because of all of the conversation around NFT’s. Should I participate, should I not? In the end, Josh paid me to do work and I figured that was inline with what I do. I am a commercial illustrator in my free time, a client commissioned me to do work and that was my general approach. I also can’t ignore that I was able to create work for a legend in Hip Hop!! Hip Hop has been close to my heart ever since I was about 6 years old!! It was a pleasure to meet Murs and an honor to do the work for him and I hope to be able to continue to create more work like this in the future.
